Standard style carbiner, but in a mutant size -- a full 5.5"Hx3.2"W. Heavy-duty annodized aluminum. Cushioned grip.
Great for attaching your PFD to your backpack or paddle bag.
My favorite use is for hanging my PFD on the team tent at races -- allowing the PFD to dry and keeping it out of puddles (when it rains) and out from under other teammates' feet (and seats). Can also be used to hang a backpack (keeping your sunglasses, phone, ... out of harm's way).
Not intended for climbing use. (Gotta laugh when you read the disclaimer.)
